Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born in Dublin 1966 to a wealthy family. She's the youngest out of three siblings. At a convent, she developed an interest in arts. After a few years in the convent, she returned to National College of Fine Arts of Dublin. However, because she was lacking motivation she decided she needed some time off and gave 10 months to recover. While she was with her group of friends in a cafe, the still photographer approached her and inquired if she was interested in modelling. She said yes, believing that she'd be able take the money to pockets money. Modelling was both profitable and enjoyable, and shortly after, she started doing it professionally. She was able to explore the globe with her commercial work after signing modeling contracts. One day, a casting director saw her work, and suggested that she attempt acting instead. She was sent to London at the age of 19 where she quickly won an audition to play in the upcoming James Bond film, A View to a Kill (1985). Acting was her passion which led her to make a profession of an actor. She directed TV dramas in London as well as Dublin immediately following her debut film. But her biggest break was when she was cast for Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in the role of Aryan seductress who was Elsa Schneider. Elsa Schneider.
